To all Certified Talkers,

What do you get when you mix a weekend with perfect weather, great food and entertainment, and lots of people ready to have fun?

The answer:  Walk&Talk

Over 300 people came to Parramatta Park last Sunday to celebrate who we are: An organisation made of people who enjoy providing essential community services - whether it's first aid services, training or community care.

Congratulations to all those who participated and talked about St John. There are now hundreds of families who know more about St John and the work we do.

The Ambulance Band did a fantastic job entertaining us.  The food was fantastic and the weather didn’t let us down.

Everyone enjoyed the walk in their own unique way.  Some raced through the circuit, most took their time to enjoy the scenery, or chat along the way.  A couple did a three legged walk; some dressed up for their walk (Banana Man seemed to get particular attention as he impressed the route marshals at each checkpoint); there were babies being pushed in prams, and walkers with their dogs.

It was indeed a day to remember.
